We will always remember this day.. Joel lives full time in Georgia (go Dawgs!), but spent several summers out in Montana working in Yellowstone. 6 years ago, on his first guided fishing trip, Joel was a very beginner angler. We had a great time floating the Yellowstone River. Last summer, Joel hooked into this beautiful, 100% native Yellowstone Cutthroat Trout while on a walk-wade trip in the Park. Fly fishing is very much like any other technique heavy activity (such as golf or tennis). It takes a lot of time and practice. Unlike, golf and tennis; however, fly-fishing’s arena is in nature-a variable environment. The combination of Joel working hard on his cast, line management, and accuracy…. and the fishing conditions being just right…. helped make this day one for the books! We hiked hard to get here, and this amazing fish was willing enough to take a bite! There are many options for walk-wade guided fishing trips in Yellowstone National Park. Call us if you are interested in a Yellowstone guided fishing trip. Thanks Joel!
