It is good to be back!

It’s official- WE’RE BACK and open for business. As of today (April 27, 2020) we are allowed to start guiding again. As there is still a 14 day quarantine for out of state anglers, we will be offering a “local’s special” for the month of May! If you are local or have already been in our great state for 14 days- you get a full day fishing trip for the price of a half day (395.00 for 1 or 2 anglers). To make sure everyone is safe- Buffs (or masks) are highly encouraged and clients will bring their own lunch. We want to get locals out on the water and put our guides to work in a safe and productive way. This week is supposed to be amazing weather, so give us a call! Unfortunately, it looks like the Yellowstone is in full run-off mode, so we will be offering our “Local’s Special” trips on other area fisheries.

Places to fish NOW

-Our local Spring Creeks- These are fishing lights out right now. If you have never fished a spring creek or want to learn more about these waters, this is a great place to hire a guide right now!

-Our local Secluded Lakes- Big fish, amazing views, solitude. Spring is an amazing time of year to fish our stillwater fisheries.

-The Missouri River (2 day minimum)- About a 2.5 hour drive from Livingston, the Mighty MO is a great river to float in the Spring. Look for lodging in Craig, MT.

-The Yellowstone MAY be an option if the weather cools

-The Madison River

Yellowstone National Park Update

Although Yellowstone has not published an official opening date, The Park is in planning mode focusing on re-opening. When the Park does re-open it will be a skeleton crew. No lodging in the park to start, no dining, and no open visitor centers. Basically, the gates will be open and people must stay outside……..in short……………… This could be the best year to fish in Yellowstone. We will have more information about exact start dates, etc. in the days to come. This year clients will drive themselves when possible to increase social distancing.

As always, give us a call with any questions. We will keep you updated as we get more info.
